Sprint goes terse
Thank you Sprint. For as long as I can remember, calling 411 using Sprint required listening to a diatribe about how you could get the number via text or get it repeated before they would actually connect you to the number, or they might tap the number to you in Morse code, and why is France so far away? It was so bad that I got into the habit of remembering the number, and then hanging up on 411 and dialing it myself. Now, thankfully, they just say to press 1 for text and connect you right away. My friend Kenny had my favorite phone-answering message: "If you don't know what to do now, you shouldn't be using a phone ... beep". |
