Couldn't they have carpooled?
Rice and Rumsfeld paid a "surprise" visit to Iraq yesterday. While I'm sure Iraq appreciated their gestures, I wonder why they arrived in separate military jets within hours of each other? Do we have that kind of money to waste? Maybe they just ran into each other at the Iraq airport the way people sometimes see each other at JFK.

Maybe it's one of those rules that they can't fly together in case the plane goes down.
