Monty Python

Dana (friend from highschool, loyal reader of this blog) wrote in a comment about Monty Python and Spamalot, and how remarkable it is that Monty Python continues to thrive.

I remember first seeing the series, week to week, when I couldn't wait for the next episode.

Now, at work and at the University, it seems one only needs to say one or two words from a sketch, and others jump in to finish the thing off. It's remarkable to me how timeless that kind of humor seems to be, and that I still smile when I hear lines from the show or the movies.

It may be the case that if X is funny, then X is funnier with a British accent. And if you add Spam, well....
