minutia press.
I guess that's why they call it the Blues

Well, sports fans, the Blues are down 0-2 in their best of seven series with San Jose. One of my best friends lives and works in San Jose, having moved there from the midwest to avoid things that are too cold. He is no doubt laughing at our feeble attempts thus far to win a game against the Sharks.

But the Blues return to St Louis tonight and tomorrow for the next two games. I have tickets for tomorrow night, which will be an important game because we'll either tie the series or have to win to stay in.

Can a team make it to the Stanley Cup if they're named after a genre of music usually associated with pain and loss?

Holding my breath until I turn blue....

The good news, though, is that the Red Wings are up 2-1 in their series. Then again, I remember wearing my Wings jersey in St. Louis and being threatened, so maybe that isn't such good news to a Blues fan...

The enemy of my enemy is my friend :-)

Sure, Blues fans can let bygones be bygones...
