KoKo the wonder dog

KoKo Pelli Cytron DIND (Jacob doesn't like the "DIND" part) won the obstacle course contest yesterday afternoon at the last session of her puppy-training class. She set a school record at 25 seconds, handily beating the second placer in this session of 49 seconds. For a few tense moments, it looked as if the other cocker spaniel might have come close to her time, but Molly froze at the tunnel and wouldn't go through.

She can't sign up for the next class until she's 6 months, so we might repeat the puppy training class. Actually, it was suggested by the teacher that we do that. So maybe she'll beat her own record next session.

I'll be glad to schedule photo ops with the wonder dog for an appropriate fee.

Is the usual fee similar to your usual bribe?

I think you need to arrange for the wonder dog to visit the DOC group this semester. Just because she doesn't look like any former movie stars doesn't mean she shouldn't get to frolic and play in the CS department.

Well, by "appropriate fee" I figured I'd have to pay you for the photo op, so yes, it's the usual bribe.

I would bring her by except for the Departmental Ban on Dogs enacted by our fearless leader some years ago, after a canine-phobic visitor was surprised by a dog (in the very area now occupied by DOC, but not a DOC dog).

Maybe if I dress her up as a prof or something?
