Hockey could return to Wash U

I believe that Kevin Truman -- chair of civil engineering -- is on the fence (on the boards?) about trying to rejuvenate the ice hockey team at Wash U.

A summary of that siutation is that we used to have a pretty good team, back when Richard Souvenir was managing the team. After he was done, the team fell into low participation, faced some pretty stiff competition, and disbanded due to lack of interest mostly on the players' part.

Prof. Truman has son who plays and might come to Wash U, knows of a great goalie attending Wash U, and so he might consider helping to restart the team.

I think some encouraging emails to him would help him decide in favor. Write him at ktrum@wustl.edu.
