Going non postal

Sorry for the long drought of posts. I'm no longer sure who's out there reading this blog (no stats facility here I think), but my lack of posting has more to do with the introspection of the Jewish high holy days. They always get me thinking and I haven't quite come up for air yet.

So much going on around me -- the Schnucks and Dierberg people are on strike, and I'm not sure why. The weather can't figure out if it's Fall or Summer still. Things at work are pretty busy too: Chris and Lucas and I have a paper accepted for a conference in San Jose.

Things at home are more hectic than they should be for a number of reasons (maybe I'll post about all of that).

You might be surprised. There are a lot of us random readers out here that just can't come up with anything intelligent enough to post on a regular basis. Your other readers/posters are far more entertaining than I am.
