Desparately seeking inspiration
Wanted: inspiring stories, anecdotes, memorabilia about why you are glad you observed your Bar or Bat Mitzvah, and why you think others should do it too. Comments
I would refer you to the words of a wise fellow who recently wrote about the value of bands - "relying on other people and having them rely on you." Isn't the Bar Mitzvah sort of like taking your place in a band that has been making life-music for a very long time? As an agnostic raised Protestant, I'm can't speak from experience, but the Bar/Bat Mitzvahs I've attended have been wonderful, proud, happy occasions. Good food, family and friends, PRESENTS - what could be bad? :-) Posted by: Elaine at October 14, 2003 7:37 PM I hadn't seen the band connection -- thanks for pointing that out!
