Determinant of The Matrix

I had the good fortune to see a movie, one with sound and color, two days ago: The Matrix Reloaded. It was amazing.

Granted, I'm easily entertained, given that I

  • 1. Don't get out much;
  • b. Mostly am forced to see movies that feature wholesome animated characters possessing only redeeming qualities and singable theme songs;
  • III. Am married to someone who found Dr. Strangelove not funny.

The above notwithstanding, TMR was an amazing movie on many levels. The action and cinematography were very well done, and the plot went several caverns deeper than the first movie did.

Not only did I get to see the movie, but I got to go with people who enjoy these kinds of movies. It was great.

Any idea what is going to happen in the 3rd one? Seems to me like the second one opened up a huge can of worms. For example, Neo is only supposed to be powerful in the Matrix, but then he stops sentinals at the end of the film. What's up with that?

I think they were showing us a matrix outside the matrix -- so he can be powerful there too. Not sure where the meta-ness will end
