The Blast took on the Shock, a team that we beat once and lost to once last season. The Shock has improved their roster with the addition of at least one star skater. We played better than our prevoius game against the Eagles, and all felt that we could take these two teams if we can get some practice time.

One nice surprise at the game was that James, Amy, Charlie, Chris, and David showed up and cheered us on. Another surprise was that our team's fearless leader (Rick) awarded me the "team puck" for being an imrpoved player. It will be mounted in my office for public view.
